We recruit the most talented and passionate university students from the top-ranked institutions of higher learning throughout the United States and Canada as our English instructors. Over the years, we’ve found that these young people, who will be so much in demand as soon as they graduate, are the ideal guides to help ESL learners improve and build more and more enthusiasm for English.

The ideal English language instructor is determined to do things properly, and loves a challenge. When a student encounters difficulties, the instructor should react intelligently and with compassion, and show initiative and inventiveness to find a personalized way to help the student move forward.

Once you’ve found the English instructor who is right for you, the next key to success is finding the right class materials. Century Bridge works with experts in the field of second language acquisition and ESL instruction to develop accessible, engage material based on cutting-edge language learning techniques. At the core of our method is choosing material that is right for the student’s age and ability level. For younger children, we use songs and pictures. For older children and adults, we offer challenges of steadily increasing difficulty, including conversation, reading, and courses targeted to standardized tests such as GED, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC.
